happenings.

welp. things are changing around the vanchiere household. first, bryce and i got new phones. well i got a new phone and bryce took my phone. he was sick of his iphone so he took my droid and i got a new iphone. sounds complicated but we ended up paying only $40 so it was a good day. also...

i am now a brown haired human. i have been wanting to go brown for a while and luckily i have a best friend who does hair so after some convincing and some moments of anxiety we got to this point. it's an adjustment and a big change but i'm loving it so far. and the husby LOVES it so that's always helpful :)

we also just resigned our lease for our apartment in orem for another year. we want to eventually buy a town house or a condo so we are going to use this year to save and look around for something we love. plus i love our little place and i really don't wanna pack up and move again quite yet so we are staying put for now. i have about five million things i want to do around our house, craft-wise and decorating-wise so i'm excited to have some time to make it even more homey. we love it here :)

summer so far is great. every time i find myself complaining about dripping sweat i stop myself because i love the heat and the summer sun! even though my recently aquired under clothing has made for a heat wave to say the least, it's been an enjoyable adjustment. i loooove summer nights, snow cones, swimming, boating, relaxing sundays outside, just everything about it. recently bryce and i have been trying to take full advantage of the summer because the last three weeks of our lives have been craziness, mostly with my work schedule. but now things have slowed down and we are loving it.

today bryce's nephew mason was baptized. he asked bryce to baptize him which i thought was really sweet. bryce of course was happy to and ironically it was the first white person he's baptized. he baptized plenty of black people while on the mish. it was a great day :)
