running out of time.

baby v will be here so soon!! i'm already 31 (almost 32) weeks! i have not done such a good job of updating the old blog with posts about baby but things get so busy and i try my best! it's starting to get pretty overwhelming thinking of how soon you will be here little dude. exactly two months from tomorrow is your due date. craziness! mommy and daddy are so excited to meet you! we talk all the time about what you might look like and we like to talk about what you might be thinking about or doing in my tummy. especially because you are such a mover! you're already a little turkey sometimes because you like to be all up in my right ribs. it hurts mommy a lot but i think you're just running out of room. doctor harrison also predicts you're going to be long! i wonder where you get that from :) you move a lot when i lay on my back, which is now getting really uncomfortable, but i like to do it to watch my belly move. i don't think you're going to be a peanut like your cousin Aiden was when he was born! our doctor thinks probably 8 pounds at least. yikes! but i was 8 lbs. 6 oz. and your daddy was 10 lbs. 10 oz. and 23 inches long so...yeah. bless my heart. but it's worth it as long as you come quickly and healthy! i love you so much already. i already get sad thinking about sending you on a mission in 18 years. haha we can't wait to have you in our home and for everyone to meet you! we have had a long list of name ideas for you ever since we found out you were a boy. but the past few weeks we've narrowed it down to one mostly. but we still have a couple of others in the running...i think mommy and daddy need to see you first and then we will just know which name fits you best. i feel so grateful that you are growing as you should and that mommy has had a healthy pregnancy so far. fingers crossed that the labor and delivery go quickly and with no problems. i still sometimes can't believe that i get to be a mommy so soon! your daddy can't wait to have a son, he loves feeling you move! you move a lot especially when he talks near my tummy, i think it's because he has such a deep booming voice. i'm sure you'll recognize it when you are born. keep growing strong ok? i love you!!

my sweet nephew Aiden is already one month old! i can't believe it time is moving too fast! he changes every time i see him. he is so stinkin cute i can't even handle it. he was so little when he was born but he just keeps getting bigger and bigger each day! he loves his mom and dad, but i think him and my sister have such a special bond. he always just looks up and gazes at her with the sweetest face, ah i love it. it's so sweet. he's my little squish and i am so happy that my baby will have a cousin so close! they will be best of friends :)
