catching up.

9 weeks have gone by without me putting a single word up on this thing! yikes! looking at that picture below of me at 13 weeks makes me laugh because i am so much bigger than i was then. and i'm only going to get bigger! our little dude (LD as his auntie ash calls him) is now 22 weeks and 4 days. technically he's 23 weeks and two days because at our last appointment/ultrasound he was measuring 5 days bigger! i'm almost positive i'm growing a huge human inside of me. his daddy after all was 10 pounds 10 ounces 23 inches long folks. wish me luck :) he is now moving a lot! i feel him all the time at night especially when i lay down. he is one active kid! i love love love feeling him move around. it gives this worry wart pregnant lady some peace of mind in knowing that he's doing well down there. he has lots of names already! little dude, LD, little monkey, baby boy, leroy, and walter are the family favorites so far. we are also working on our list of real names for when he's actually born but we don't have any set in stone yet. names are hard!! i am feeling much better in terms of not being nauseous every second of every day. i have more of an appetite. i get short of breath a lot and this baby lets me know when i need to sit down and take it easy for a minute. i also am still so tired a lot of the time! definitely not as bad as i was the first 16 weeks but still exhausted by the end of the day! i am so grateful for an amazing husband. i could not ask for anyone better to be by my side through this time! he loves talking to the little guy and feeling him move around. he moves around a lot whenever bryce is by me talking! he knows his daddy already :) i love our boy so much already and can't imagine my life without him and he's not even here yet!

on another note...

my sister ash and baby peanut are doing well and he still isn't here yet! she is 36 weeks now and was supposed to maybe be getting the stitch out today. but it is stable and holding well so her doctor decided to keep it in for another week and a half. this lady has been on bed rest for 15 weeks for goodness sakes! bless her heart. luckily her doctor said she can start getting up and doing more until the stitch is out. in the end she knows it will be worth it to have him go as long as he can before he comes! we just are all anxious for her to have him soon! but her doctor knows best and we have to be patient :) i can't wait to meet her new little man! ash and j can't wait for him to come and i know they will be the best parents! hopefully my next post will be pictures at the hospital when he's born! woot woot! :) can't wait to meet you A baby!

we were able to throw ash and A baby a shower a couple of weeks ago! it was so fun and she got lots of fun things for peanut! she has had a lot of support from our extended family even from those who don't live near by. it's been pretty amazing to see and learn those who really care and take the time to step in and do what they can to help in a difficult time like this. i couldn't be more grateful that ash has been so strong and made it this far in her pregnancy. she has been patient and has learned a lot along the way and i know she can't wait to hold this little man in her arms.
